My cats: Shelly and Cooper
I’m the proud mommy of 2 cats: Shelly and Cooper, named after the eccentric yet hilarious Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory. Like Sheldon, they’re special in their own ways, with personalities from 2 ends of the spectrum.
(Princess) Shelly
This is Shelly, but she prefers to be called “Your Highness” because she’s finicky like that. She finds (Sir) Cooper rather uncouth and ungraceful, and he can be sometimes. But then again, her highness also farts like it’s nobody’s business. Tsk tsk tsk.When Shelly is not reclining in her royal pet bed or fine dining on fancy feasts, she’s busy avoiding Cooper. She also loves cuddling with her mommy and daddy.
Shelly was born in Octoboer 2010 and is a domestic short hair calico. Calicos are known as the redheads of the cat world, and Shelly is no exception. She displays all the characteristics of a cat, and then some, but we still love her just the same 
(Sir) Cooper
He’s not princessy at all, but he deserves a title of some sort, hence “(Sir) Cooper”. Shelly would disagree; she thinks he looks like a hobo. If she had her way he would be named Pooper or Sir Poop-a-lot. Cooper has this unexplainable obsession with Shelly – I do believe it was love at first sight! Too bad her highness doesn’t feel the same way about him 
Cooper was born in August 2010 and is a Maine Coon mix. Maine Coons are known to be very dog-like, as if they were actually dogs that somehow got trapped in a cat’s body. Cooper is no different - he fetches, chews, follows you around, and loves belly rubs like any dog you know. Unfortunately he also has doggy breath D:
