Skincare nerd, anti-aging enthusiast, bs detector.

I’m Jenny, and I’ve spent more time analyzing skincare ingredients than most people spent watching Netflix.

I created Geeky Posh to help people navigate the (unnecessarily) complex world of skincare with bs-free reviews, science-backed guides, and anti-aging advice that won’t require a chemistry degree.

First skincare routine

I was 11 and it was a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer set from Yves Rocher. I'm a firm believer that if it hadn't been for that fantastic trio (now sadly discontinued), I never would've been as obsessed with skincare as I am now.

Started my first blog

Which was just ramblings of a 15-year-old. No skincare reviews yet, though a 15 -year-old probably isn't the best person to go to for skincare advice. Unless you're also 15 years old. But seriously, no.

Started Geeky Posh

I wanted an outlet to share my own skincare journey. At first it was just casual reviews but the more I researched the science behind ingredients, the more I realized just how much crap was out there. And this was before TikTok.

30,000+ strong

Between subscribers and social media followers, I'm surprised and humbled by everyone who has continued to follow along this journey. Only 970,000 more to go to reach my goal of 1 million!

Trusted Reviewer of Fancy Face Stuff

Turns out, beauty bigwigs actually dig my unfiltered reviews, so I've partnered with these fancy brands to create genuinely helpful content that cuts through the skincare noise. Because when it comes to your face, you deserve the fancy truth.

* Unless it's a request for "guest posts" or "sponsored articles", then I'll get back to you never.

What is your skin type?
Dry, except in the summer where it leans combination (oily t-zones, semi-dry/normal elsewhere). No sensitivities and not acne prone.
What is your skin tone?
NC15, ie. light and warm. But since I only apply foundation around the center of my face, I often opt for the fairest shade possible to create the illusion of plumper skin. Contouring 2.0.
What is your hair type?
Straight, thin, dry, and colored. So if I’m not careful my hair will start looking like a broom real quick 🧹
What are some of your favorite skincare brands?
If I had to start my collection from scratch, I’d purchase from: Prequel, SK-II, La Roche-Posay, Agency, U Beauty, Paula’s Choice, and Naturium. Most, if not all, products I’ve tried from them have been *chef’s kiss*
What are your favorite skincare ingredients?
Retinoids, Ceramides, EGF, and Peptides. These ingredients consistently deliver the best results for my skin. Yes I know vitamin c is awesome, but no, my skin just doesn’t seem to care for it most times. Ymmv.
