February Beauty Favorites

Written By Jenny Wu on

I don’t usually do these monthly beauty favorites posts, but last month I’ve discovered and fell in love with quite a few products that I just had to share! So without further ado, here are my favorite beauty products for the month of February:

February Beauty Favorites // Geeky PoshPin

Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid
I’ve suffered from awful blackheads on my nose for as long as I remembered, and no strip or mask has provided a long term solution, until this. My pores are now visibly smaller and a lot of the blackheads have disappeared. There are still some stubborn ones left, but not for long!

Etude House Nymph Aura Volumer (No.3 Transparent)
Y’all know how I love a dewy finish to my makeup look, and I get just that when I mix this with my foundation (or BB cream). Seriously, the dewiness this gives knocks any previous product I mentioned out of the park – they can’t even compare. This also helps prevent any cakiness or settling of my concealer, which was a huge problem in the past (but not anymore!).

CREMORLAB Sun Protective SPF35/PA++
I raved about this in my 2014 Beauty Favorites and it has been an absolute skin-saver during the ridiculously cold month of February! I love how it hydrates + softens my skin without being greasy, and my face feels protected against the elements when I use this!

NYX Butter Gloss (Vanilla Cream Pie)
I’ve been all about pink lips last month, so I would alternate between the YSL Tint-in-Oil and this. You can read more about it here in my NXY Butter Gloss review.

Cinema Secrets Ultimate Foundation Palette (No. 2)
I’ve found my HG concealer for my dark circles! Unlike other concealers I’ve used in the past, this one is thick, creamy, and covers blemishes with just a thin layer. No wonder it’s a cult classic in the Taiwanese beauty blogsphere (that’s how I found out about this).

YSL Volupte Tint-in-Oil (No. 6)
Yes I’m obsessed with YSL’s lip products, and this lip gloss/tint is no exception. I love the glossy look it gives and it makes my lips feel super soft and hydrated. Most of the colors are quite sheer, but No. 6 (Peach Me Love) still manages to give my lips the perfect rose pink color.

I absolutely love the NYX Butter Gloss! It's so beautiful, especially for its price.

I agree Connie! I just wish the packaging could be a little prettier, I'd gladly pay a couple dollars extra for that! ;)

Lucy

The suncream sounds good, as I have to put on everyday I like to find something new every now and then Lucy x

Hi Lucy, I highly recommend the sunscreen especially if you have dry skin! It's been a lifesaver for me this past winter!
