Recent Empties #3 feat. Missha and Kiehl’s

Written By Jenny Wu on

Sorry for the lack of updates last week guys…I got distracted by Digimon Adventure Tri (it brought back so much feels, it’s not even funny), but on the bright side, I’ve once again collected enough empties for another recent empties post!  Recent beauty empties feat. Missha and Kiehl's // Geeky PoshPin

  1. Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel
Got a 3-pack sample using my Sephora points, and I love how convenient it is. There are 2 wipes per pack, and while the smell is atrocious, I do like that it doesn’t make my face sticky like other AHA products I’ve used before. It does sting a little bit, but for me I feel like that means it’s working. Once I’m done with my current AHA/BHA products, I will purchase the full sized version of this product.
  2. Clarisonic Radiance Brush Head
I don’t believe a brush can actually help brighten your skin (other than scrubbing off your actual skin, but that’s awful), but I do like how soft this was compared to the other brush heads. But then I tried their Cashmere Cleanse Brush Head, which just blows the Radiance one out of the water. Will not repurchase this one.
  3. Rice Force Deep Moisture Essence + Cream
In case you didn’t read my review on this entire line, everything is pretty much incredible and expensive. I thoroughly enjoyed using both products though and would consider purchasing the full-sized products in the future. Ahhh, so many products to try and just 1 face! #beautybloggerproblems
  4. Missha Time Revolution First Treatment Essence
I feel like I should’ve fallen in love with this because that seems to be the common reaction, but I may have found this to be even more bleh for my skin than the Missha Time Revolution Ampoule. Apparently they reformulated this so it no longer includes licorice roots, which I love for brightening. Definitely won’t be repurchasing this now.
  5. Opal One Minute Hair Deep Treatment
My mom bought me like 10 of these (no joke) so I’ve pretty much been using this exclusively has my conditioner. It’s more moisturizing than your usual conditioner but lighter than a hair-mask. It’s very affordable in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and I rather enjoy using it, but goodness I want to try something new!
  6. Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence Sunscreen SPF50+ PA+++
The sunscreen that’s made for people who hate sunscreen. It has a nice watery texture that dries quickly to a natural finish. I loved this sunscreen for the longest time, but I got bored and wanted to try something different. I also prefer physical sunscreens (or at least a physical/chemical hybrid), whereas this is a chemical sunscreen. Still a solid option and very affordable too!
  7. Annie’s Way Calendula Softening Jelly Mask
Oh I love my jelly masks, and this one by Annie’s Way has to be one of my favorites. It has a simple ingredients that include calendula extracts for calming the skin and hyaluronic acid for hydration. My skin always feels so soft and soothed after using this!
  8. Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Body Butter
Yes this was a sample, but it was an amazing sample. First off it smells delicious without being too strong, and second it just feels so luxurious on the skin. It’s rich without being thick or oily, and it does a great job of hydrating the skin. Will definitely purchase the full-size of this.
  9. Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask
I liked this mask, but nothing about it really wowed me. My favorite Borghese Fango Active Mud Mask cleaned better and both are equally drying. I probably won’t purchase the full-sized product anytime soon, but never say never right?

Yay! So that’s it for this time’s empties – I’m quite proud of myself for finishing so many products! Also, I do have the photos for the next post ready, so this definitely won’t be a 1-post week. See you guys next time!

It's too bad about the ones you didn't like! From good brands too.

I always love reading empties post because they make me actually want to buy the products! Because it shows you've actually used it and it worked well for you :") I've bought some stuff from your previous posts I must say ;)

Happy holidays!

Liv

I like this series haha, I have so many empties because I don't tend to take photos of products before using them. I should do one of all the Korean facial cleansers I've tried!

By the way I started using the Biore sunscreen because you had posted it a while back. I LOVE IT! It's simply perfect for not-beach usage!

I love reading/seeing other people's empties so you should definitely do one Liv! I just save mine in a basket in my bathroom until I accumulate enough :P
So glad to hear you like the Biore sunscreen!! You really can't go back to traditional sunscreens after using that!
